Showing with Kemper Knoll
We regularly take our students showing with their own horses and also provide KKF horses for our students to show. Our goal is to have fun, compete to the best of our ability, be well prepared and attend shows appropriate to the various ability levels of our students.
Typical Expenses for Local Shows
Show Fees - determined by show management - typically between $10 and $15 per class
Hauling to Shows - by Kemper Knoll - $1 per mile, minimum $35
Coaching - $40 per day, per horse
Typical Expenses for Overnight Shows
Stall Costs - determined by show management
Hauling to Shows - by Kemper Knoll - $1 per mile, minimum $35
Show Fees - determined by show management - either by class or division
Coaching - $40 per day, per horse, local - $50 per day, per horse, away
Expenses - $150 per day divided by number of KKF students attending show
Bedding for Horses - usually $6 to $7 per bag of shavings, minimum of 6 bags per stall paid to horse show
Schooling of your horses is available at home or at horse shows for $25 per ride. Please make arrangements with us in advance for this service.
